Wyoming Untrapped is delighted to win Silver in “Best Nonprofit in 2024” in the annual Best of JH 2024 sponsored by Buckrail in Jackson, WY. This honor follows a Bronze in BOJH 2024. Protecting domestic and wild animals is a high-priority mission for many of us. It’s a daily challenge requiring resilience, strength, and courage. Conservation is forever, and the work will continue to be challenging. There is no better way to celebrate the end of our tenth anniversary year than to receive your uplifting vote of support. Wolverine need FULL protection:
Last chance for public comment, now Extended 60 days
The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) listed the North American Wolverine in the contiguous U.S. as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in November 2023.
Request the USFWS prohibit incidental take from lawful trapping of other wildlife. Fewer than 300 are estimated across California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Wyoming Trapping Incidents
Tens of thousands of animals are trapped and snared in Wyoming every single year! Many are unreported.
These numbers represent only the trapped animals reported by less than 30% of trappers in Wyoming from 2008 to 2023. For every trap, we believe one to three non-target animals may be trapped. Every animal and bird of prey is a possible victim.
